  “Central Transportation Systems moved our furniture and belongings from Houston to Brownsville, Tx and an overseas shipment to Singapore and stored items not moved. This was done in 2002. We had moved 5 times in 7 years prior to this move. In fact we had moved from Oklahoma to Houston just 8 months before this move. Central sent someone to look at our houshold goods to get an estimate of packing materials and manpower needed for the move. At that time we shared with the employee the information from the prior move. On that move we had 30 dishpacks and we wanted to make sure that Central knew how much stuff we had to take with us. When Central arrived to pack us they had 10 dish packs and three workers. They began to work slowly knowing that they didn't have nearly enough boxes or people to do the job. About mid day an additional 5 people arrived with more packing materials. I had color coded all our belongings since the things were going to three locations and when the additional crew arrived they were less than interested in knowing what was going where. Because they had another move in the truck going to the Rio Grande Valley there was not enough room for our clothing in the wardrobes. The packers took the clothes out of the wardrobes and threw them in the back of the truck. We had damaged furniture damage to the floor in the kitchen of our home, items missing such as the glass off the tops of tables. When we arrived in Singapore the same was true. We had missing items and damage. We are now back in the States and Central delivered the storage. When the movers arrived I was told that they had a flood in the warehouse in 2006 and they had a list of damaged items ruined in the flood. Those items not damaged in the flood were thrown in the truck, boxes were crushed etc. When I called Central about the flood damage I was told to contact my insurance company. I would stay away from this company at all costs.”
